American Democracy Is A Fraud
If America was a true democracy, the kind of democracy that it so often preaches about to other nations, it would:
          1)  Make ballot access easier for third parties.
          2)  Give third party and write-in candidates equal exposure and opportunity
Instead, what we have is a sham two-party monopoly designed to keep the masses ignorant and resistance to their policies as ineffective and feeble as possible.
The question that has to be asked is:  What are they afraid of?  A real discussion of issues instead of a two-headed popularity contest?  Is the Status Woe above reproach?  Is America doomed to the same dimwitted and unfocused leadership that it has grown accustomed to?
One could argue that political positions are in fact jobs, as they meet all the criteria for employment, and therefore all efforts to minimize participation by placing undue burden and requirements on the aspirants, are in fact wrongful, fraudulent and thus illegal.
America is very good at preaching to other nations about democracy but in reality its two party monopoly fails its own litmus test.  Instead of the Great Democracy, what we have is the Great Hypocrisy.
